Public parking is often available in limited quantity each summer season because of the popularity of the Town's public beach strand, especially on weekends and holidays. To avoid a citation, please park in designated areas and be mindful of posted signs in the right-of-way. The right-of-way areas of state maintained highways should not be utilized for recreational parking. If you must park in these areas, ensure that your vehicle is sufficiently located away from the traveled portion of the highway to allow other vehicles to safely traverse. When parking on the right-of-way of public town streets please park in a manner that allows for the unrestricted flow of two-way traffic.
