Full Time Firefighter II/EMT-B

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

The applicant must possess both NC Firefighter II certification and Hazmat Level I certification (Operations). North Carolina EMT-B and be able to pass the locally required Oral Boards within 12 months of employment; possess a high school diploma or GED, and obtain a NC Class B Driver’s License within 90 days of employment.

 

Experience Preferred:  3 years in the fire service and 1 year as a driver operator.

 

Starting Full Time Salary: Base Pay $ 30,330.30 with Benefit Package

Town of North Topsail Beach 

Reserve Police Officer 

Positions Available

 

 

The Town of North Topsail Beach Police Department seeks reserve police officers to perform general law enforcement duties to include, but not limited to:  Investigating traffic collisions, answering general calls for service and complaints, protecting life and property, enforcing traffic and criminal laws and ordinances, preventing and investigating criminal activity, testifying in court, performing related work as required, and writing detailed and factual reports.

 

Reserve police positions are eligible for hourly compensation upon successful completion of the department’s field training program.  The department recruits heavily from the reserve program to fill full-time positions as they become available.

 

Completion of high school/GED; NC Basic Law Enforcement Certification; Possession of a valid NC driver’s license, willing to work rotating shifts; Possession of basic computer skills needed to support job functions; Ability to represent the town in a professional and respectful manner, while interacting with all members of our community and within the workplace.
